The Regional Center for Healthy Communities (Metrowest) film series continues with a brown bag lunch screening of Christopher’s Story about a young man from Weymouth struggling with addiction on August 19 at 12 noon.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of Massachusetts is accepting applications for its Massachusetts Institute of Community Health Leadership, a 10-month fellowship for professionals working in health care and health policy.  Applications are due August 12.  For more information and to apply, visit http://bluecrossfoundation.org/Programs/MICHL.aspx

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Office of Adolescent Health and Youth Development is seeking workshop proposals and project/poster displays from organizations and individuals for its 2009 MA Statewide Youth Initiative - Connecting for Change: The Youth Empowerment Project to be held on October 24 from 9-4 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough.  The deadline to submit proposals is August 14; see the attached documents called <Youth Conference Proposals> and <Youth Conference Posters>.  For more information, contact dahlia.bousaid@state.ma.us
