Healthy Waltham will continue their Walk and Talk with elected officials this summer on Monday nights beginning July 6 at Leary Track on Bacon Street across from the Plympton Elementary School from 6:00-7:15 PM. For more information, contact Judy Fallows at jfallows@healthy-waltham.org.
Somerville has been named an All American City by the National Civic League for its close and effective collaboration among the public, private and nonprofit sectors and diverse community members to identify and advance the progress of key goals shared by the community specifically around the Green Line Expansion project. Congratulations!
Cambridge Prevention Coalition is seeking nominations for its Leaders in Prevention Awards 2009 in the areas of Outstanding Youth Leader, Outstanding Youth Organization, Outstanding Agency/Organization, Exemplary Leadership, Richard V. Scali Most Responsible Retailer, and Outstanding Substance Free Event. The deadline for nominations is September 15. For more information, contact Gisela Rots at grots@cambridgema.gov.
