Community News

Centro Latino will hold an Open House and Health Fair focusing on HIV testing and other free health screenings on June 30 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Centro Latino Offices at 105 Windsor St in Cambridge. 

Suffolk University is offering a full tuition scholarship for Leadership in African American Women’s Health in its Master of Arts in Women’s Health program.  The deadline to apply has been extended to June 30.  For more information, visit http://www.suffolk.edu/college/22704.html

Partners in Prevention will hold their 13th annual Wellness Summit on October 2 in Milford and they are seeking nominations of individuals or agencies that are Making a Difference in school and community wellness.  You can send nominations describing the individual’s or agency’s achievements to Karen Nardone, 33 Forge Parkway, Franklin, MA 02038 until July 10.

The Boston Foundation and the New England Healthcare Institute will hold a public forum on Healthy People in a Healthy Economy: A Blueprint for Action in Massachusetts on June 30 from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Boston Foundation, 75 Arlington St in Boston.  RSVP by June 26 to rsvp@tbf.org including your name and contact info and title of the event.
