The Wellesley Health Department is sponsoring training with Leslie Worris on Staying Sane – Maintaining a Healthy Brain on May 10 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Wellesley Free Library.  For more information and to RSVP, contact Cheryl Lefman at clefman@wellesleyma.gov or 781-235-0135.  

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is hosting an open forum with their medical director, child psychiatrist Dr. James Uhl where you can “ask the doctor” about children’s mental health including diagnosis and medication at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington on Wednesday, May 12 from 6:30-8:30 PM.

MetroSuburban Advocacy Initiative will be hosting its annual Legislative Breakfast with special guest Gov. Deval Patrick on Friday, May 21, from 8:30-10:00 AM at Heritage Hall in Lexington.

The MassPartnership for Healthy Communities is seeking nominations for its Community Principles Awards to recognize creative and useful best-practices developed by communities as they implement the Healthy Communities Principles to be presented at the Healthy Communities Conference (see below).  For more information, see the attached document called <Healthy Comm Principles Award>.
