The Regional Center for Healthy Communities will be presenting a workshop on The Social Determinants of Health. The event will take place on Tuesday April 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Needham Public Library. Funding Opportunities
The Intermediary Support for Organizing Communities Program, provides small grants and technical assistance to build the capacity, sustainability, and impact of grassroots organizations that are engaged in important community organizing work in low-income communities. Dove Inc., is also looking for someone to fill a part-time position as an Emergency Shelter Guest Advocate. This is a part-time position offering one to four 8-hour shifts per week. CASPAR, Inc. in Somerville as a 2-year old Pitney Bowes mailing station/postage meter that has 18 months left on the lease. It will cost them $2000 to buy out the lease, but Pitney Bowes said they could assign it to someone else.
