Cyber bullying workshop for families will be held on March 10th 6:30 – 8:00 pm at West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powderhouse Blvd. The workshop is free for families and community partners focused on identifying, stopping and preventing cyber bullying at home and in the community.
 
Northeastern University will be hosting a lecture on Connecting City’s and Schools the role of public education in creating equitable, healthy and sustainable communities. The speaker will be Deborah McCoy on Wednesday March 10th from 1:30 to 2:30 at 220 Behrakis Health Sciences Center, Northeastern University. Contact Aileen Ochoa at a.ochoa@neu.edu
 
Massachusetts Town Hall Initiative will host Start talking before they start drinking: A strategy to keep Massachusetts’ Kids alcohol free on March 22, 2010from 3:30 to 4:30 at the Great Hall at the State House. To register visit causemedia.com
 
Attached is information about a series of hearings the Bureau of Family Health and Nutrition will be holding.  The Bureau wants to get broad input on the services, evaluation and priorities funded through the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant (Title V). <MCHHearings>
