Funding for the 2010 Drug Free Communities program is now available. The 2010 DFC Request for Applications (RFA) is available online. ONDCP expects to award approximately $18.75 million for 150 new competing grants to support the efforts of community coalitions working to prevent and reduce substance use among youth. The deadline for applying is Friday, March 19, 2010.

The 911 Good Samaritan Bill, will help reduce the number of fatal overdose deaths by creating conditions that encourage people to call 911 for emergency medical assistance during an overdose.
