Substance Abuse Prevention Coalitions

The RCHC is committed to working with communities to effectively reduce substance use.  One way we do this is by offering technical assistance to coaltions through funding from the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services and on a fee-for-service basis.  Many of our free library resources are related to substance abuse prevention.   We also convene an inter-coaltion networking group, which meets quarterly to share best practices with each other and to discuss issues of concern and interest.  Any coaltion in our region is welcome to attend these meetings at no cost.  For more information about the inter-coaltion, please contact Stacy Carruth at scarruth@healthier-communities.org or 617-441-0700 ext. 209.
