Workshop Description: We often told of the importance of strategic planning
but rarely have the opportunity to become informed about what a successful process
should look like and where an organization should start.
This training workshop will cover the following:
- What can strategic planning achieve or not achieve?
- What are the steps and components of a successful process?
- How does an organization get started?
- What are the pitfalls and how can we avoid them?
This session will be suitable for both those who have very limited experience of
strategic planning as well as those who have previously participated in a strategic
planning process but would value a stronger grounding the steps and strategies for
an effective approach.
Trainer: Sally Lewis of changeWorks consulting has many years experience
in strategic planning in both the non-profit and for profit sectors. She has provided
strategic planning training and support to organizations throughout Metrowest region
and beyond and we are delighted she will be with us to share her skills with you.
