Location: Needham Free Public Library, 1139 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02494. The library is located within walking distance of Needham Center.

Event Description: This exciting forum will frame the issues from the global to local scale, and present successful community models that can be emulated. Highlights include:

  • Welcome: Senator Marc Pacheco, Senate Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change.
  • Keynote Speaker: Paul Epstein, MD, MPH, Associate Director for Health and the Global Environment, Harvard Medical School.
  • Panelists: Alan Balsam, PhD, MPH, Director, Brookline Public Health and Human Services; Nancy Nolan, Founding Member, Lexington Global Warming Action Committee, and Suzanne Condon, Director, Bureau of Environmental Health, MA Dept of Public Health.
  • Networking opportunities and resource materials in abundance!
