Event Description: This exciting forum will frame the issues from
the global to local scale, and present successful community models that
can be emulated. Highlights include:
- Welcome: Senator Marc Pacheco, Senate Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change.
- Keynote Speaker: Paul Epstein, MD, MPH, Associate Director for Health and
the Global Environment, Harvard Medical School.
- Panelists: Alan Balsam, PhD, MPH, Director, Brookline Public Health and
Human Services; Nancy Nolan, Founding Member, Lexington Global Warming
Action Committee, and Suzanne Condon, Director, Bureau of Environmental
Health, MA Dept of Public Health.
- Networking opportunities and resource materials in abundance!
